Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Featherstone Safety Hub uses cookies and similar technologies, what choices you have, and how to manage your preferences.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website recognise your device on subsequent visits and can store preferences or session information. Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your device.
Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, may also be used for equivalent purposes and are covered by this policy.
2. Cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the platform to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, setting your privacy preferences, or completing forms. Without these cookies, services you have asked for, such as maintaining a logged-in session, cannot be provided.
No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies.
- Session authentication: maintains your logged-in session (set by Supabase, our authentication and database provider).
- Security tokens: protects against cross-site request forgery.
- Cookie consent record: stores your cookie preference so you are not asked again unnecessarily.
2.2 Analytics cookies
The Featherstone Safety Hub platform (featherstonesafetyhub.co.uk) does not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and your consent will be sought before any analytics cookies are placed.
The Featherstone Safety marketing website (featherstonesafety.co.uk) does not use analytics or advertising cookies either. It is served as static pages and sets no cookies of its own. Some features on it are embedded from third parties, which are listed in section 2.4 below.
2.3 Marketing and advertising cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on this platform. If this changes, this policy will be updated and your consent will be sought before any such cookies are placed.
2.4 Third-party and embedded cookies
Some functionality on this platform may be provided by third parties. These third parties may set their own cookies. We do not control third-party cookies. Current third-party services that may set cookies include:
- Supabase: authentication and data storage. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: payment processing (on billing pages only). See Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: hosting and infrastructure. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
On the marketing website (featherstonesafety.co.uk) the third parties are different:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector): the enquiry form embedded on the home and contact pages. It stores form state in your browser and its provider may set cookies within the form itself. See HighLevel Privacy Policy.
- Reputation review widget: displays our published client reviews on the reviews page.
- Google Fonts: supplies the typefaces used across the site. Google receives your IP address in order to serve the font files. See the Google Fonts privacy note.
- Netlify: hosting for the marketing website. See Netlify Privacy Policy.
3. Your choices and how to manage cookies
3.1 Cookie preferences
Where we use non-essential cookies, you can choose to accept or decline them. On the Featherstone Safety Hub platform you can update your preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
The marketing website sets no non-essential cookies of its own, so it carries no cookie settings control. Cookies set inside an embedded third-party feature are governed by that provider, and can be managed using the browser controls in section 3.2.
Declining non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use the core platform. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as the platform cannot function without them.
3.2 Browser controls
You can also manage cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See what cookies are set and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies (note: this may prevent the platform from working correctly)
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by a notice on the platform or by email to registered users. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
